  • We are so excited about the start of the 2024-2025 school year and seeing our new and returning preschool families! Below is some detailed information for our enrolled students regarding our orientation sessions before school officially starts on Tuesday, September 3! You will get additional classroom-specific information once our teachers return to the building at the end of August.

    School Hours

    Preschool AM Session: 8:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

    Preschool PM Session: 12:10 p.m. – 2:55 p.m.

    Preschool Full Day Session: 8:30 a.m. – 2:55 p.m.


  • Before classes officially begin September 3, we will hold two in-person orientation sessions on Thursday, August 29 for families and students to meet teachers and classmates and explore classrooms.

    During orientation, you and your child will meet their teachers and some of their classmates. You will have an opportunity to explore and play in the classroom. Parents/caregivers will be asked to transition out of the classroom about halfway through the session for a brief presentation on program specific information such as arrival/dismissal procedures, tuition payments, and curriculum updates.

    AM Sessions for 3-year-olds (Monday-Thursday; 8:30-11 a.m.)

    Thursday, 9–9:45 a.m.

    PM (Monday-Friday; 12:10-2:55 p.m.) and FULL DAY Sessions (Monday-Friday; 8:30 a.m.-2:55 p.m.)

    Thursday from 10:30–11:30 a.m.

     

    Required Items

    Please bring the following items with you to orientation.

     

    • Most up-to-date physical form.
    • Any medication that your child needs. Please bring these items directly to the nurse’s office. Staff are not allowed to accept any medication.
    • A change of clothes in a zip lock bag (including a shirt, pair of pants/shorts, socks and underwear) labeled with your child’s name to be kept in the classroom.
    • Extra snacks, labeled with your child’s name (in case one is forgotten, spilled, etc.) to be kept in their classroom. No nut products.
    • Any missing paperwork, as your child will not be able to attend at the start of school if all their paperwork is not received.  You will be notified if you are missing any prior to orientation.
    • A family photo and 3 individual photos of your child. Please email these to dlowell@ashland.k12.ma.us before orientation day.
